Acting Out-Relationships |
| Using dramas in your group accomplishes two goals. One, it communicates a message in a way thatâs less âpreachy,â so students might be more likely to listen in. Secondly, it involves your students in the ministry, giving them ownership over the program. This type of involvement is key to developing a core group of student leaders. To help meet these two goalsâand to help add some more fun to ministryâwe commissioned some dramas. The Acting Out series skits focus in on certain topics that youth leaders have told us are important to them. Actually, weâve just always wanted to âcommissionâ something and this seemed like as good a reason as any. Each of these humorous skits focuses on the topic of Relationships. How can I be a better friend? What does being an accountability partner mean? Am I being too rough on my friends?Acting OutâRelationships skits:Your Call is Very Important to Me: Accountability is only a phone call away. Itâs Not Too Late: Rough marriage or the life of a bachelor. Tough choice. Friends? Deepening friendships isnât as easy as on TV. But itâs still funny. A Slice of Life: Resolving conflict over pizza and bathroom breaks. Get your students involved in a fun, low risk activity. Along the way they just might learn something. |
